Support promotion of services for both new and existing clients.
Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring that the full range of SGS services are presented to new and existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
Ensure timely creation of quotes and professional submission requested by clients, ensuring follow-up.
Source and coordinate with affiliates and/or subcontractors for subcontract engagements.
Support analysis of market potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies.
Monitor the market for the development of new technologies and trends.
Promote the image, capability, and integrity of the company to the clients.
Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Science or related field would be advantageous.
Technical knowledge of chemical/microbiology laboratory testing would be advantageous.
Preferred with 1 year experience in customer service.
Able to work independently and multi-task.
Team player with a passion for customer service.
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
Able to interact with all levels of management.
Works well under pressure and challenges the status quo.
