Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the sales team in secretarial and administrative support.
  2. Act as a contact person between the client and the hotel in the absence of Director of Sales & Marketing, Asst Director of Sales, Sales Team.
  3. Proficient in the operation of personal computer and Opera Systems.
  4. Well versed in all aspects of the hotel’s facilities.
  5. Ensure all correspondences are effectively copied to all relevant departments and regional offices and traces dates effectively followed up.
  6. Ensure all incoming correspondences are forwarded to the respective managers.
  7. Handle telephone calls to take messages, new enquiries, check room availability.
  8. Ensure all leads are answered to and proposals are followed up within 8 hours.
  9. Be accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibility.
  10. Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
  11. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  12. Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
  13. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  2. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  3. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
  4. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Detail-oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow-through.
  6. Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
  7. A team player & builder.
  8. Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
