Sales/Business Development Director (Interior Design Contractor)

Our client is a dynamic international interior design contractor specializing in both public and private sectors including residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. As our client expands their operations in Singapore, they are seeking a Sales/Business Development Director to drive growth and manage key client relationships in the interior design space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Lead market growth efforts in Singapore, identify opportunities, and achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as developers and main contractors, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Initially will be an individual contributor. Later will expand the sales team. Responsible to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve business goals and targets.
  • Project & Bid Management: Oversee large-scale interior design projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Lead the preparation of competitive bids and proposals.
  • Market Insights & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client demands to adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or project management within the interior design, construction, or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Singapore market, building services, project operations, and bidding processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, set targets, and drive performance.
  • Networking: Established network within the construction, real estate, and design sectors, with the ability to leverage relationships to drive business.
  • Personal Traits: High adaptability, resilience under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset.
