Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Knowledge or past experience in industrial automation, robotics, vision systems, IIoT, assembly and test process automation solutions
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in the Optoelectronics, Semiconductor IDM & OSAT, EV & Green Energy, and Consumer Electronic/Device manufacturing industries
- Regional travelling is expected
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for Business Development of Automation Equipment Programs & Solutions for the Optoelectronics, Semiconductor IDM & OSAT, and Consumer Electronic/Device market segment in line with set Yearly Revenue & GM targets.
You will ensure excellent Customer Fulfillment & Satisfaction, Quality, and Cost goals through your leadership of a team of Design Engineers, Project & Product Engineers, and Site Engineers (Matrix Management), including regular updates of the pipelines.
- Develop a Sales Strategy Plan for business expansion and penetration into these market segments by cultivating industry contacts and building potential pipelines/prospects to achieve set Revenue and Margin goals.
- Actively pursue and screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; while resolving internal priorities.
- Build a quality pipeline of prospects worth at least 5-10 times the yearly set targets to allow for proper gestation of ongoing prospects.
- Attend to Request for Quote (RFQ) process, from obtaining the BOM to proposing a quotation for Management review for timely submission to customers to win the prospects.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Identify diversification business opportunities and expand customer bases.
- Establish rapport, relationships & excellent communication with customers while providing excellent customer satisfaction and influencing Senior Management within the company.
- Provide leadership and organization skills in coordinating activities of various interest groups to deliver customer satisfaction and timely deliveries – from Senior Management to Design teams to Operations and Site Support teams.
- Provide Sales Pipeline on a weekly basis and sales projections & forecasts bi-weekly to enable the consolidation of total Company Revenue forecasts.
- Manage the SAP Sales Order entries for won projects, ensuring timely invoicing and payments from customers.
