Who We Are Looking For?

Sales and Operations Manager (Supermarket)

Lead and manage a group of area/cluster managers to deliver business plan and KPIs within budget. To be accountable for overseeing the clusters of stores to ensure activities are effectively carried out. Administration aspects through co-ordination and correspondence with the respective HQ support departments to ensure effective communication and uniformity of instructions amongst all stores.

What Awaits You:

  1. Involve in the analysis and forecast of market trends to assist stores in staying ahead of the competition.
  2. Participate in establishing and executing Company policies, procedures, promotions, and guidelines to entail operational efficiency.
  3. Provide clear direction, guidance, and leadership to the Area/Cluster managers under his/her care.
  4. Deliver strong effective communication regarding key KPIs either in written or verbal format.
  5. Collaborate with support departments to ensure all corporate strategies, directives, and promotions are effectively thought out before being implemented and executed with excellence at stores to achieve operational effectiveness.
  6. Work closely with support departments to identify potential areas of concern with regards to promotions executions and opportunities.
  7. Train and develop team members in established techniques and skills, procedures, and company policies to reach a higher level of efficiency.
  8. Conduct routine supervision to ensure all corporate strategies and directives are implemented and well executed at the stores.
  9. Involve in strategic planning in areas of store refits, new store opportunities, as well as merchandise displays.

We Are Excited About You If You Have:

  1. Tertiary education in Business Administration, retail operation management, or related disciplines.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in managing retail sales and operations of global retail brands.
  3. Strong business acumen with an aggressive sales and consumer approach to managing business and improving processes.
  4. Strong analytic skills, resourceful, meticulous.
  5. Excellent people management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Possess leadership qualities.
  7. Resourceful with a positive attitude.
  8. Confident with a high level of self-drive, integrity, and professionalism.
  9. Strong level of judgment.
  10. Proficient in MS Office.
  11. Sound knowledge in the retail industry, government regulations on consumer protection act, etc.
  12. Strategizing and planning skills.
  13. Feedback skills.
