The Business Development & Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in sales management, business development, and team leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business opportunities.
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and deal closure.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
Develop and maintain sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall business objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote products/services and build brand awareness.
Stay informed about market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging technologies that could impact sales strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
6+ years of proven experience in sales and business development, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
Strong understanding of bespoke software development and IT solutions.
Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales budgets, and forecasting sales performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close deals with clients.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
