Job Purpose
Maximize new business and referral opportunities by acquiring and deepening client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients to grow the business.
Conduct professional and consultative financial analysis to address clients' financial objectives.
Develop and execute monthly sales plans to exceed sales targets and referrals.
Organize and conduct sales presentations for groups, clubs, and associations.
Client Relationship Management:
Foster and deepen client relationships through regular engagement and market updates.
Provide high-quality after-sales service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Manage client anti-attrition and retention strategies to minimize portfolio churn.
Regulatory & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
Report any suspicious transactions or activities to the Transaction Monitoring Unit (TMU).
Requirements:
3-5 years of financial sales experience as a Relationship Manager in a bank, preferably in priority banking.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Additional certifications in financial advisory or wealth management are a plus.
CMFAS (Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services) Certifications:
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) / CFP (Certified Financial Planner) / IBF (Institute of Banking & Finance) Certification – Preferred but not mandatory.
Proven track record in client acquisition and sales performance.
Strong knowledge of financial products, investment solutions, and market trends.
Clean compliance record with required CMFAS certifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Sales-driven with a strong ability to meet and exceed targets.
Ability to work independently and handle a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
Strong compliance awareness and ethical sales conduct.
