Safety Officer (ECO Certified / HDB Projects) - Up To $7,000 + Bonus

• Position: Safety Officer (ECO Certified / HDB Projects) - Up To $7,000 + Bonus
• Location: To Be Advised
• Working hours: Monday to Saturday | 8am to 5pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7,000 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits

Main Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures
2. Communicate Company's health & safety policy, objectives and procedures to all staff
3. Assist and enforce sites to implement site health & safety plans and plan training programme
4. Perform health & safety audits on sites; Conduct periodic health & safety training for site personnel
5. Maintain Company's health & safety statistics and records
6. Liaise with Government Agencies on health & safety issues, application of factory permit and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites
7. Update Management on new and current health & safety matters
8. Investigate all accidents which occurred and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence
9. Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters
10. Ensure the OHS management programme is effectively implemented and maintained
11. Promote awareness among staff, workers, contractors, suppliers, etc.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the construction industry
2. Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) & ECO Certificate (NEA)
3. Familiar with Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental
4. Relevant experience in demolition
