SAFETY MANAGER

You will be primarily responsible for all of the policies, practices, and operations for the Safety, Health, and Environmental functions within Company operations.

You will have project responsibilities across multiple projects of the company.

Coordinate accident/incident investigations and reporting, promoting employee participation in the Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, ensuring that emergencies are handled fulfilling the requirements of applicable regulations.

Coordinate and conduct safety training and act as a safety resource to all project members.

Responsible for coordinating Health, Safety, and Environment related activities at a site level, establishing and implementing the Safety, Health & Environmental company programs ensuring regulatory compliance.

Identify potential hazards in the workplace, such as machinery, chemicals, or environmental factors. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess safety compliance.

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to minimize risks.

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).

Educate workers on the proper use of safety equipment and machinery.

Conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness about workplace hazards and safe practices.

Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, or near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Evaluate and recommend safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), fire suppression systems, and emergency exits. Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of safety systems.

Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Report safety performance to management and regulatory authorities.

Develop and implement emergency response plans for situations like fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.

Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and advancements in safety technology.

Recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety.
