Salary Range : $2800-$3500*

Company Overview:

Our client is an A1 construction developer with a good track record in the construction of HDB flats and condos.

Job Scope (WSH):

• Assist WSH Officer in implementing OHSAS 18001 & safety management system on site.
• Carry out checks on the sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with safety regulations & requirements.
• Conduct daily EHS inspections and rectify/correct any unsafe conditions and practices immediately.
• Attend all safety meetings, inspections, and ensure that good working conditions are maintained on site.
• Conduct daily Toolbox meetings for Main Contractor’s Workers to brief about safe work practices and housekeeping.
• Monitor and ensure all workers & staff have attended relevant safety training courses.
• Educate workers about the proper usage of PPE and ensure compliance on site.
• Check and maintain documents of lifting equipment and electrical equipment testing/calibration reports.
• Coordinate with the Client’s Safety Representatives.
• Issue memos against Safety, Health, and Environment violations.
• Arrange safety committee site audit schedules and meetings on a monthly basis.
• Prepare minutes of site safety committee observations/findings and discuss in meetings.
• Follow and ensure compliance with the Safety committee’s recommendations.
• Assist WSH Officer in accident investigations and report preparation.
• Implement incentives for Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Check and ensure the availability of first aid boxes and fire-fighting equipment; follow up on servicing and maintenance.
• Brief workers about emergency evacuation, escape routes, and head counting at the Emergency Assembly Area.
• Maintain SMS filing system.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by immediate superior or higher management.

Salary offer will depend on qualifications and experience.*

Variable Bonus will be subject to company and candidate performance.**
