Safety Coordinator ( Up $4000 )

Location: Pioneer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
Compensation: Basic + Allowances + AWS + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring all safety conduct measures comply with statutory Acts & legislative requirements.
• Work closely with SHE department on necessary corrective measures.
• Implement appropriate safety measures on site.
• Strengthen existing safety culture through continuous improvement of safety standards.
• Drive 5S projects & Safety Recognition within the department.
• Administer all statutory equipment within the work site and manage 3rd party inspections.
• Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and safe work practices recommended by the Process Safety Management project team.
• Oversee the compliance of the Personal Safety Action Plan (PSAP).
• Carry out investigations and reporting on all safety-related incidents.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure site activities comply with safety requirements.
• Monitor all key work areas within the shop floor for safety compliance.
• Oversee subcontractors on site to ensure safety compliance at all times.
• Conduct monthly safety communication sessions and meetings within the department.
• Conduct weekly Confined Space Inspections before entry for workers.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness drills.
• Participate in Internal Audits for ISO 18001 & 14001.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O Levels and above.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Manufacturing, Building, and Construction Industry.
• Possess an Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent (Safety Coordinator Training Course), or
• Possess Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or equivalent (OPISCS), or
• Possess Manage Work At Height certificate, or
• Possess Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation Certification, or
• Possess Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan or equivalent (bizSAFE Level 2 Risk Management Course), or
• Possess Occupational First Aid Training.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
