Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues.
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Provide safety training and education to all project staff and general workers to ensure they understand and follow safety protocols.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and develop preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Collaborate with management and employees to address safety concerns and improve safety practices.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Coordinate with external agencies and organizations on safety-related matters.
Qualifications:
Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Building and Construction Industry.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
Ability to conduct thorough investigations and develop effective preventive measures.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
HDB Project experience will be an advantage.
Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Training Course is a must.
