Safety Coordinator

Job Descriptions:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Recommend practicable measures, document and report infringements, including photographic evidence, to management and relevant personnel.
3. Inspect the site daily and take appropriate corrective actions; prepare inspection reports for the Project Manager for immediate action.
4. Arrange monthly EHS meetings & conduct site inspections with project teams.
5. Conduct in-house safety orientation for all new employees to the site, and also conduct daily toolbox meetings.
6. Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times.
7. Lead the risk assessment team to develop risk assessments and identify safety hazards on site.
8. Work closely with safety supervisors and safety personnel to ensure safety compliance is met.
9. Responsible for all site matters including safety and other related issues.
10. Maintain and update safety, health, and BizSafe documentation (if applicable).
11. Any ad-hoc job assigned by a superior.

Requirements:

1. Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course (Level B)
2. Risk Management Level 2
3. Certification in Manage Work-At-Height course
4. Occupational First Aid Course (OFA) (Optional)
5. Additional certificates related to safety are an added advantage.
