Safety and Facilities Specialist (1 year contract, West, up to $4000)

Job Description:

• Location: West, Lok Yang
• Salary Range: S$3,500 - S$4,000
• Contract Duration: 12 months

Role Summary

On-site facility maintenance, simple machine maintenance, and working with vendors to resolve facility or machine operation & safety concerns.

• Define the management of the outsourced relationship.
• Support in detecting and signaling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes, and suggest improvements.
• Handle communication with direct colleagues and support the business about data gathering and analysis.
• Contribute and support in resolving facility/machine/safety concerns as a team member.
• Engage with employees and contractors to ensure safety practices.
• Support HSE to drive workshop best practices & HSE culture and enable business growth through risk management and control processes.
• Support in incident investigation, site audits, and inspections.
• Support HSE to complete all required metrics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the company system of record.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the people leader.
• Work directly with the HSE & Facility Manager and Operation Manager to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategies, including those for HSE.
• Report to the HSE & Facility Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Polytechnic Diploma in Facility Engineering or similar with at least 2 years of experience in Properties/Facilities Maintenance. Fire Safety Manager qualification is preferred.
• WSH - Workplace Safety and Health Level B (strongly encouraged but not required).
• Familiarity with HSE Tableau, INTELEX, MAXIMO is an advantage.
