RSF Calypso Team Lead

Position
The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade…), Back Office (Summit, Calypso…), Market data referential (Asset Control..), Market Risk (in-house application on big data technologies).
The Repo and Secured Funding (RSF) IT division works across the full value chain to sustain business activity and enable its acceleration.
This role aims to take the lead of one of our Calypso back office IT teams in Singapore, in project mode as well as in maintenance mode, to support the “build and run the bank” function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The build and support team continuously works with business users, infrastructure engineers, and system managers.

Main responsibilities

As a hands-on Delivery Manager and Run Specialist Lead, you will be part of an international team focused on running and supporting the bank’s RSF Platform developed around Calypso, a software package from Nasdaq, and in-house solutions.

Build & Change Management
· Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
· Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.
· Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
· Coordinate run and build the bank.
· Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
· Support the release roadmap in production.

Release Management
· Define and implement in coordination with the release schedule of the Calypso applications.
· Supervise and coordinate the release activities with the various stakeholders (i.e., Build team, Application Support…).
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the release processes, tools, and automation.

Application Monitoring Responsibilities
· Define and implement in coordination with the build team the needed application monitoring.
· Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user requests by working closely with project, infrastructure, and production teams.
· Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize downtime.
· Process and issue daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on data quality of the risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly runs.
