ROV Project Engineer

OVERVIEW:

The Project Engineer is responsible for the overall implementation, execution, control and completion of project. He is also required to travel to maintain close client contact and be aware of their present and future requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage project development from initiation to closure.
• Monitors on contract quality control and assurance to ensure the assigned project is carried out in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance published procedures.
• Monitors all matters pertaining to Occupational Health, Working Safety and Environmental Protection to ensure the assigned project is carried out in accordance with local legislation, client requirements and the Company HSE Policies published procedures.
• Develop full scale project plans, operation procedures and work practices in relations to project awarded.
• Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.
• Identifies and assigns special manpower & equipment resource requirements for project and recommends recruitment or training.
• Operation and logistic support for field projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Electrical / Mechanical Engineering·
• Minimum 3 years related working with ROV systems & projects
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Excellent scope, time, quality, resource, risk and cost management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated leadership in managing people.
