Description: Changi Airport Group (CAG) is looking for a highly motivated Robotics Software Engineer with a passion for making a difference in the future of airport operations. You will work directly with both airport domain experts and leading robotics companies in response to the changing nature of airport operations by pioneering bespoke robotics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software, robotics, sensors, and system integration.

Job Description:
The candidate is expected to contribute to the team responsible for the development, maintenance, and upgrading of a Robotics Middleware Platform / Robot Command and Control (C2) Platform. The role includes integrating various systems (such as robotics platforms, internal enterprise systems, IoT systems, and infrastructure systems), performing necessary testing and validation prior to live deployments, as well as supporting live deployment troubleshooting. The candidate is also expected to collaborate with a cross-functional team including business owners, robot vendors, and ground operation officers to innovate and adopt robotic solutions to challenge and augment the current concept of operations.

Job Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields in engineering.
2. More than 3 years of experience in software development in robotics, fleet management, and system integration.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and RUST.
4. Familiarity with ROS, Gazebo, or similar in both simulation and actual deployment.
5. Familiarity with AGVs, AMRs, collaborative robots, and robotics components.
6. Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, and electronics.
7. Familiarity with robotics deployment tools such as EKS and Docker.
8. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Experience with the deployment of robotics is a plus.
10. Knowledge of REST, Typescript, and Android development are a plus.
