Design and development of robotics and unmanned systems
Conceptualise, build and test prototype robotics and unmanned systems
Perform system integration, assembly, testing and qualifications of robotics/ unmanned systems
Incorporating sensory payloads/ accessory systems and automation of robotics or unmanned systems at the platform level
Define software controls of unmanned systems and payloads for different applications
Generate technical documentations and drawings
Work with design team, local and overseas vendors and partners for prototyping and product development
Meet customers to understand their needs, and formulate these into products to fulfil the requirements
Participate in the build-up of new capabilities in the areas of robotics, unmanned systems and Man-Unmanned Teaming
Conduct market assessment, research to understand and gain knowledge of unmanned and robotics technologies/ products
Requirements:
Degree in engineering-related disciplines (Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Electrical/ Electronics, Mechanical)
Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
Competencies in robotics design/ mechanisation and electrical system integration will be an advantage
Proficiency in the following are desired:
Programming (e.g. ROS, Python, C/ C++)
Modelling and simulation tools
Deep learning tools
Hands on to build and test robotic prototypes/ products
Strong in research of information both online and offline
Able to read and interpret fabrication/ mechanical / assembly drawings
Good analytical skill and ability to present information clearly on report
Knowledge in drafting, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills, self-driven with a positive spirit, willingness to learn new skills and expand into exciting new technology domains
Independent, responsible and mature and work with minimal supervision and ability to network
Must be a team player with good communication and analytical skills
