Responsible for achieving sales targets, managing staff and overseeing store operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead teams, develop sales strategies and focus on maximizing profitability.
Oversee and coordinate daily retail operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators for continuous improvements.
Develop, implement and update operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity, safety and customer service satisfaction.
Liaise with HODs to optimise inventory management, merchandising and sales strategies.
Manage and lead a diverse team of retail staff, providing guidance and support.
Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and product knowledge.
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role
Ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail operations and a proven track record of successful management in in a retail setting.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain and logistics.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field
