Retail Associate

Responsibilities:

1. Provide information such as the unique selling points and features and benefits of the merchandise to customers and assist them in their shopping needs in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Provide up-to-date and accurate information to customers on TANGS’ policies, procedures, services, and promotions and address customers’ queries and feedback efficiently.
3. Adhere to TANGS Service Standards when attending to customers.
4. Achieve sales targets.
5. Perform physical counts of merchandise inventory and inform the Supervisor of any discrepancies, defective, broken, or markdown items.
6. Manage the replenishment, transfer, or return of merchandise.
7. Conduct routine checks on merchandise displays and arrangements, fixtures, and sales areas to ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.
8. Perform other duties like requisition of signage, gift-wrapping, follow-up on alterations, repairs, reservations, deliveries, etc.
9. Handle cashiering duties.
10. Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor/manager from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 'O' Level.
2. Prior experience in retail will be an advantage.
3. Cheerful personality and well-groomed. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. 5-day work week. Able to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.
