Respiratory Therapists (RTs) in KKH are part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing respiratory care services to premature babies, neonatal, paediatric as well as adult patients in the hospital.
Your role includes provision of cardiorespiratory assessments and support to patients in delivery ward, operating theater, intensive care units (neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, Women's ICU), high dependency units and general wards in areas such as initiating and titration of both invasive and non-invasive respiratory support as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and airway procedures. Other duties include provision of education and training to other members of the healthcare team, students and patients as well as maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment.
