Resident Technical Officer & RTO (T)

Job Descriptions:

1. Work as Resident Technical Officer to our LTA projects, assisting and reporting to RE and SRE to monitor all site activities and any incidents, including near-misses. Report any non-compliance to RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
2. Assist Engineer in supervising related works, including but not limited to replacement and extension, construction and reconfiguration of viaduct/bridge works, and associated civil works, proposed new flexible pavement and infrastructure, realignment of roadways, fencing, and construction.
3. Prepare daily reports regularly and as required by clients.
4. Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance with all plans/drawings, risk assessments, and specifications.
5. Willing to work on rotation shifts.
6. Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.
7. Ensure that contractors and their subcontractors comply with client's safety requirements, and that safety checklists are followed.
8. Reject poor quality work on site and inform RE to raise a non-conformance notice.
9. Assist RE in managing and maintaining records and documentation on field or site changes and monitor adherence to the construction schedule.
10. Carry out standing supervision for critical site activities.
11. Stationed full-time on site, 44 hours weekly. For RTO Tunnel: 56 hours weekly.

Working Areas:

Full time at sites: Sin Ming Area; Tampines North; and Serangoon North, Bright Hill MRT.
