Review all project drawings (including working drawings, shop drawings, authority submission drawings, and as-built drawings) and specifications including architectural works, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before the ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Electrical, Fire Protection System and architectural work commences on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project.
Attend site meetings and site walks with Owner and consultants.
Administer the University’s Safety Management System and conduct periodic inspections on the provision of safety measures together with the Contractor’s site safety supervisor or Contractor representative to ensure that the Contractor complies with the Safety requirements.
Check on-site quality of works, materials, and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer/Consultant/Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
Ensure that the contractors carry out their work in compliance with Codes of Practices and requirements of authorities and government agencies.
Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
Supervision of all M&E works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations.
Monitor the progress of work and certify contractor monthly progress claim according to actual work done on site.
Double up as architectural RTO to supervise architectural works.
Date of commencement: Feb 2025.
Contract Period: 7 months with option to extend on a monthly basis for a total of 6 months.
Requirements:
Diploma/NCCS holder or higher in M&E discipline.
Must be experienced in reviewing architectural works.
Min. 5 years of experience as RTO on local projects for Data Centre Projects.
Experience in ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Electrical and Fire Alarm System, Architectural projects.
Good communication skills.
Accreditation of M&E RTO Certificate by IES.
Required experience in supervision work for data centre system including chiller plants, fan wall units, dehumidifiers, integrated system test, electrical system, fire protection system, plumbing, and sanitary works.
Working Hours:
Working hours shall be from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Mondays to Fridays (inclusive of one hour lunch break) and on Saturdays, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm (4 working hours).
In view of the nature of your work, you may be required to work beyond the hours stipulated as and when required.
Gratuity:
There will be no gratuity for this employment contract.
