Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

Job Descriptions

1. Monitor contractors' daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
2. Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer.
3. Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.
4. Highlight discrepancies, provide feedback on site progress and report non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.
5. Assist in reviewing contractors' method statements and working procedures to ensure compliance on site.
6. Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works, and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified.
7. Ensure all construction works comply with statutory requirements.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/Pre-U/A Level/College/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
2. Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES.
3. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
4. Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
5. Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
6. Must have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course.
7. Candidate with civil/infrastructure experience will be preferred.
8. Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
