Resident Technical Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
2. Provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
3. Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
4. Ensure that the contractor has obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
5. Conduct site inspections and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
6. Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants for the works
7. Review, evaluate, and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems, etc.
8. Review and supervise safety, environmental, and health matters
9. Supervise the installation of instrumentation
10. Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works, etc.
11. Review, evaluate, and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
12. Review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision, especially in roads, flyovers, and pedestrian overhead bridges
2. Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering
3. Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore
