Resident Technical Officer

Job Location: Bukit Panjang/Serangoon/Yew Tee/Outtram Park

Working Hrs: 44hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of construction activities to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Liaison with main contractors, architects, and engineers for the approval of shop drawings and resolution of site issues.
• Management of site safety in accordance with Ministry of Manpower guidelines.
• Attendance at site meetings and preparation of meeting minutes.
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of rectification works and quality of materials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, preferably in addition and alteration works.
• Registered RTO with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES), or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) is preferred.
• Relevant experience in site supervision and project management.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications for Structural and/or Architectural works.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.
• Skills in maintaining proper updated records of all works done, including tests, inspections, and safety reports.
• Capability to resolve site problems and liaise effectively with contractors and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction safety guidelines and the ability to ensure compliance with safety management systems.
