Resident Technical Officer

Job Responsibilities

1. Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
2. Provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
3. Supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
4. Ensure that the contractor has obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
5. Conduct site inspections and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
6. Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants for the works
7. Review, evaluate, and assess all formwork structures and formwork support systems
8. Review and supervise safety, environmental, and health matters
9. Supervise the installation of instrumentation
10. Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works
11. Review, evaluate, and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results, providing analytical results/presentations
12. Review the Contractor's design and supervise all works
