Resident Technical Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to assist in overseeing civil and structural works for construction and A&A projects. The successful candidate will help ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and quality standards throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Support and Inspection Assistance:Assist in site supervision by conducting regular inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
• Defect Identification:Identify and document defects in construction work, supporting the oversight of rectification efforts to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Meetings and Reporting: Attend site/project meetings, providing updates on progress and discussing technical matters. Assist in preparing regular progress reports for management.
• Safety Compliance: Support the enforcement of safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety protocols.
• Quality Control Support: Help implement quality control measures to ensure that all works meet specified standards and project requirements.
• Additional duties as required by senior management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with project management software and local building codes.
