Resident Engineer, Electrical (Water Treatment | West)

About our client: Our client is a leading global engineering and project management consultancy embarking on large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects.

Please note that this role will be hired on a contract basis to support our client's project.

About the role:

1. Lead the site supervision team on all the Electrical and Building Construction works.
2. Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Electrical site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
3. Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
4. Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

About you:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
2. Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising electrical works in water/used water treatment works.
3. Registration with IES as Resident Engineer (M&E) is preferred.
4. A person with good communication and leadership skills.
