Resident Engineer - Electrical

This role is with a large multinational consultancy company for the extension of a water plant in the eastern part of Singapore.

Job Details:

1. Oversee all Electrical matters for this project. Role will work across the project to monitor, support and guide the implementation of all electrical works by the contractors. This includes procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical works.
2. Lead a team of Assistant Resident Engineers (AREs) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs). This role will report to the Chief RE and Engineering Manager.
3. Work closely with Mechanical and ICA REs within the project team.
4. Communicate effectively and coordinate with all parties.
5. Provide clear direction and guidance to Electrical RTOs.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Possess a minimum of 10 years of design and construction experience on large infrastructure projects in Singapore.
3. Strong understanding of electrical design and experience in the design and implementation of electrical works, including site testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
4. Experience in generating and reviewing design calculations related to electrical equipment and its accessories.
5. Experience working with BIM and 3D models will be advantageous.
