Resident Engineer (C&S)

Job Responsibilities

1. Check the correctness and integrity of all form works and steel reinforcements for concrete structural members and make necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with the design.
2. Ensure the correctness of the retaining wall, ground anchor, and other soil stabilization systems as per the design.
3. Verify site clearance in accordance with approved plans from relevant agencies (i.e., reference to Nparks approved DC and tree felling plan).
4. Ensure the implementation of control measures and vector control in compliance with regulations.
5. Supervise the project to ensure that the works are constructed according to project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.
6. Provide administrative control and maintain proper records, including site attendance, leave records, overtime records, and inspection checklists.
7. Review Contractor's submissions, work method statements, and work demonstrations.
8. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve discrepancies to prevent delays.
9. Attend site meetings, highlight foreseeable problems, and recommend possible solutions, as well as discuss progress, variations, and coordination.
10. Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
11. Report to C&S QP, working closely with regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve issues, and ensure timely project completion.
12. Supervise structural works by identifying any non-conformities in contractor's works on site and conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with MOM.

Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as RE for LTA project.
