Resident Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and registered Resident Engineer to oversee and ensure the successful execution of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-storey buildings with basement construction, foundation bored piles, and steel and precast building construction, particularly in healthcare projects. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations, supervising construction activities, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and local regulations.
2. Monitor and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project progress and quality standards.
3. Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying and addressing any technical or safety issues.
4. Ensure compliance with Civil & Structural engineering codes and regulations related to building projects.
5. Provide technical guidance and solutions for construction challenges.
6. Review and verify project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
7. Ensure all work adheres to quality and safety standards, mitigating risks and ensuring project success.

Requirements:

1. Registered Resident Engineer, accredited with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
2. Extensive experience in multi-storey building projects with basement construction, foundation bored piles, steel, and precast building construction.
3. Prior experience in healthcare projects is highly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of local building regulations and Civil & Structural codes in Singapore.
5. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
