Job Description

1. Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
2. Report to C&S QP, work closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects.
3. Be competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. The appointed person must have the strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
4. Possess a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for buildability and safety assurance system.
5. Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
6. Manage the site supervisors with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and M&E engineering works.
7. Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings. Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.

Job Requirement

1. Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
2. Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing.
3. Minimum 8 years’ experience preferably in steel and precast building construction.
4. Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
5. Must have experience in condominium projects.
6. A good team player and experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
7. Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
8. Supervision of C&S and Architecture works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s works on site.
9. Strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
10. Supervise and manage site supervisors with respect to C&S and Architecture Work.
11. Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
