Job description

Celebrating 21 years in business this year, Kerry Consulting has grown from humble roots to becoming the largest Singapore incorporated Executive Search & Selection Firm. Our consulting team is the most experienced in the region, with many of our directors celebrating 15+ years with Kerry this year. With almost 100 employees (and counting) across function and industry specialisms, we directly influence and transform lives for our candidates and clients every day.

With continued success, we are looking to fortify our already outstanding Research Team.

As a Researcher, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself professionally by being part of one of the best Research Teams in the country and partnering with award-winning directors of the business in executing confidential and time-sensitive search assignments. The mandates you work on will be varied with regional coverage.

With a cross-industry market focus from Financial Services to FMCG, Technology, Energy & Commodities, and Legal, the coverage will range from niche specialty profiles to senior heads of department to C-suite levels. You will gather market intelligence, market map, source and screen candidates, and offer input on candidate selection and key target organisations.

Job scope:

  • Systemically mapping out targeted organisations and talent pool.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends.
  • Identify candidates through database searches, networking, and online platforms.
  • Initiate contact with potential candidates through various channels.
  • Maintain an updated and organized candidate database.
  • Analyse competitors and industry leaders to identify key targets and trends.
  • Create organizational charts and industry maps for talent visualization.
  • Assess candidate qualifications and suitability for executive roles.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with consultants to refine candidate profiles and search strategies.
  • Analyse data for optimizing search strategies and improving outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of targeted search strategies.
  • Document findings and produce concise reports and updates for consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data protection, and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong levels of reasoning, conversational ability, and commercial acumen.
  • Comfortable with making persistent cold calls, handling objections, and able to convert cold calls to warm acquaintances over the phone.
  • Assured organizational discipline with integrity and ability to exercise high levels of discretion in a confidential environment.
  • Able to engage senior executives with the ability to put people at ease.
  • Interest in current affairs and market developments.
  • Demonstrable intellectual rigor and a track record in goal-oriented achievements.
  • Open to experience and background.
