Research Scientist/ Research Associate

The Nanyang Business School (NBS) is recruiting a Research Scientist / Research Associate (Part-Time) in the area of data protection law and data privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in primary legal research on databases such as Lexis-Nexis, HeinOnline, etc.
2. Collate research materials found, inclusive of preparing summaries of research materials which involves reading and drafting written summaries of regulatory materials, legal judgments, and secondary materials.
3. Formulation and development of data governance structures and frameworks.
4. Other research administrative tasks.

1. Master in Law with extensive experience in research and/or in data protection law.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Organised and meticulous.
4. Capable of following instructions meticulously.
