Research Officer, Biotransformation and Engineering (SIFBI)

Successful candidate will be actively engaged in research projects relating to validating machine-learning models to predict enzymatic activity, automating the mutant constructions, screening for higher enzymatic activity, and characterizing the improved mutant enzyme. He or she will provide support in the area of high-throughput experimental planning, data analysis and literature survey.

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, Biotechnology or related fields.
2. Good knowledge of enzyme engineering techniques, enzyme characterization and lab automation will be important.
3. Experience with molecular biology techniques such as enzyme kinetics characterization is preferred.
4. Candidate should be dynamic and able to work with multiple teams, with good communications skills.
