This position is dedicated to advancing the exploration and applications of reconfigurable topological photonic crystals based on a soft-matter platform. The role encompasses developing new tunable topological photonics control methods and demonstrating on-chip reconfigurable devices using liquid crystal topological photonics in the near-infrared band. The main targets are threefold:
Considering the above research targets, the candidate should possess in-depth physical insights and interdisciplinary knowledge of electromagnetics, topology science, material science, etc. Practical experience in the simulation, design, fabrication, measurement, and characterization of liquid crystal in topological photonics is preferred.
