Research Fellow (Single Cell Technology, iHealthtech)

Our organization consists of an interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians who work with our industrial partners to push the frontier of science to meet patients' needs.

The research group headed by Assistant Professor Cheow Lih Feng is looking for a passionate and self-motivated candidate to join the team as a Research Fellow. The candidate will be involved in the research and development in the area of single cell analysis technology as well as collaborate with our clinical partners on the testing and validation of these technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and development of novel single cell technologies for biomedical applications
2. Collaborate with clinical partners on the testing and validation of the technologies
3. Mentor, supervise and train junior staff members and students
4. Prepare research manuscripts, presentations and grant proposals
5. Other ad hoc duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. PhD degree in biomedical engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines from a reputable university
2. Demonstrable good publication track record
3. Highly motivated with ability to work independently as well as a good team player
4. Excellent skills in project management
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
