The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow, Nanobiointerface, Cellular Biophysics. The Nano-Bio Interface Lab, led by Asst. Prof. ZHAO Wenting, aims to elucidate the nanoscale regulation mechanism of how membrane geometry impacts the organization and modulation of cellular and biomolecular machineries in disease progression and therapeutic development. The lab has established state-of-the-art nanofabrication and advanced imaging technologies. The team is seeking to recruit a research fellow devoted to advancing the studies of nanoscale deformation of cellular components and its mimics derived from nanofabricated chips and high-resolution imaging. The project aims to elucidate mechanisms of biophysical guidance of biomolecular assembly and interaction for disease interpretation and related therapeutic development.
The Research Fellow will take on a significant role in leading research projects, training junior members, writing scientific publications and research grants, and coordinating collaborative work.
