Research Engineer (Chemical Analyses)

Job Description

The job holders are to work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the research team to process air quality data and study the small-scale dispersion of airborne pollutants in an urban environment.

Qualifications

One or more of (but not limited to) the following:

• Proven ability to conduct literature searches and summarize findings
• Experience in chemical characterization via chromatography (GCMS, LCMS, GCTOFMS, etc.)
• Proficiency in handling data using at least two of the following: Excel, R, Matlab, Python, etc.
• Proactive in assisting and contributing to quality scientific research publications
• Keen interest in field studies
• Proficient in technical presentations, slide creation, report writing, etc.
• Proven ability to be an effective team player with strong initiative and ownership of research projects
