Job Description

The successful candidates will contribute to research activities related to the analysis and simulation of workplace safety and health, economics, and climate/weather data. The candidate shall work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct academic research and administrative work. Specific job activities may include:

  1. Conduct literature review on topics related to the project;
  2. Design research related to the project's topic;
  3. Collect and analyse data obtained from collaborators and reliable online sources;
  4. Liaise with collaborators on meetings and data collections;
  5. Develop innovative ways to analyse available data and use simulation to achieve research goals;
  6. Write research papers, reports and proposals;
  7. And any other tasks required by the principal investigator.

Job Requirements

  1. A degree within the fields of construction management, safety management, engineering management, civil and structural engineering, or related fields;
  2. Strong quantitative analysis, machine learning and simulation competencies;
  3. Research experience in construction management topics;
  4. Willing to learn, independent, leadership qualities, team player, professional, proactive, communicative, and responsible;
  5. Strong English writing and communication skills.
