Research & Development Senior Engineer

Job Descriptions:

1. Fabricate and integrate silicon photonics process development by following process documentation and operating instructions. Handle projects and set up process inspection manual. Train the operators/engineers in metrology and process integration.
2. Understand the process/product requirements, optimize the process margin, and analyze the possible root cause for any device failure.
3. Independently carry out tests to determine and analyze device performance.
4. Collaborate with project team members to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance.
5. Test result documentation and performance analysis.
6. Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Optics, etc.).
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry; wafer fab is preferred.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
6. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
