Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate for “RNA THERAPEUTICS AGAINST RNA M6A METHYLTRANSFERASES AS CANCER THERAPY: CASE STUDY IN ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA AND MULTIPLE MYELOMA” in the Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Teaching and research activities in our department range from clinical pharmacology, systems pharmacology, to basic molecular and cellular pharmacology. Purpose of the post

The Research Associate (RA) will be responsible for conducting research on cell culture, microscopy, molecular assays, and animal experiments, and will work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure successful research in drug delivery.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. Have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines.
2. Have research experience in molecular cell biology.
3. Be able to work in a team, possess an investigative nature, and have attention to detail.
4. Have publications.

Main duties and responsibilities

The RA will perform extracellular vesicles characterization and assays in cell culture. The RA will be able to:

1. Assist with the general logistics of the project.
2. Take care of breeding and maintenance of mouse colonies.
3. Design and perform in vitro and in vivo experiments.
4. Analyze data and write publication reports.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
