Research Associate

Job Description

1. Assist in conducting experiments according to established protocols and procedures
2. Ensure accurate data collection and adherence to experimental timelines
3. Collect and organize data from experiments and research activities
4. Assist in preliminary data analysis and interpretation under supervision
5. Record experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately
6. Maintain detailed and organized records of research activities and data
7. Assist in literature searches and reviews to support research hypotheses and methodologies
8. Contribute to background research and discussions on project development
9. Work collaboratively with team members
10. Communicate research progress, findings, and challenges effectively within the research team
11. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
12. Participate in safety training and maintain a safe working environment
13. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge
14. Engage in learning opportunities to understand new techniques and methodologies

Job Requirements

1. Master’s degree in a relevant field with Science/ Biomedical Sciences preferred.
2. Proficiency with scientific instrumentation and equipment.
3. Familiarity with software tools for data organization and preliminary analysis.
4. Experience in collecting, processing and interpreting research data.
5. Ability to interpret and present data effectively.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey research findings.
7. Ability to critically evaluate research outcomes and draw meaningful conclusions.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based, cross-functional research environment.
