Job Description
The Signature Research Programme in Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders (NBD) is focused on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, and the neural mechanisms underlying human neurological, psychiatric and ophthalmological disorders.
The Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory (CSL) studies the effects of sleep and circadian rhythms on human performance and physiology. The research assistant will assist in running research study protocols, including studies on the effects of sleep behavior on learning, wellbeing, and physiologic responses. The technical responsibilities include applying EEG electrodes, collecting and/or processing biological specimens, operating study equipment, monitoring progress of research protocols, and administering computer-based neurobehavioral tests to research subjects. Additional roles include subject recruitment and data analysis.
