The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.
The Laboratory of Experimental Therapeutics at EID, Duke-NUS Medical School focuses on exploratory drug discovery against flaviviruses (eg. dengue virus, zika virus and related members) with the mission to facilitate antiviral discovery approaches for prevention and treatment of flavivirus-associated diseases.
The selected candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of virologists/molecular biologists performing experiments using classical virology, molecular virology, biochemistry/structural studies as well as in vivo animal and organoid infection systems.
We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
