Working under the directions of the Deputy Executive Director of NUHCS, the purpose of the research cardio-informatics team is to use research data (both clinical and non-clinical) to perform data analytics, using state-of-the-art statistical methodologies, augmented with Machine Learning (ML) and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
As a member of this NUHCS research cardio-informatics team, he/she will liaise with external collaborators to ensure the success of all research initiatives and contribute directly to the CArdiovascular DiseasE National Collaborative Enterprise (CADENCE), platform 1 “Data Science”, a national clinical translational programme aimed at synergising cardiovascular research and technology capabilities across Singapore.
