At Building Robotics Laboratory, we develop state-of-the-art sensing, learning and control systems for energy efficient, human-centered, comfortable and healthy environments. Building Robotics lab focuses on the development of new tools, evaluation protocols and technologies; the processes of design, management and procurement are also developed and examined through actual implementation of systems in real buildings on NUS campus and beyond.
We are looking for a Building Performance Specialist to join our growing team. As a Building Performance Specialist in Building Robotics lab, you will have the opportunity to work on different parts of developing advanced building facades, cooling systems, and smart robots. The candidate should be able to extract relevant standards (ASHRAE/WELL) information to the product design and communicate them effectively with the engineering team. We are particularly seeking individuals who are familiar with or are interested in learning about smart building systems (automation and controls) and are able to undertake sophisticated system development works. If qualified for admission, the candidate may opt to pursue a higher degree in relevant subjects.
