Purpose of the post
The Research Assistant/Research Associate (RA) will be involved in an ethnographic and historical study that investigates the urban heat experiences and practices of Singapore households. The RA will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator(s) to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project. The RA’s principal role will be to recruit participants, participate in multi-method physiological-ethnographic fieldwork investigations (physio-ethnography), conduct participant-observation, ethnographic and oral history interviews, data entry and analysis, interview transcription and drafting of publications and reports.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Research Assistant/Research Associate will assist in physio-ethnographic research and analysis (i.e. implementing physiological monitoring, conduct interviews, participant-observation, data collection and organisation etc.), liaise with relevant personnel and will be accountable to the Principal Investigator.
