StriveX is partnering with a regional Corporate Bank who is looking for a Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking team. This person should possess prior relationship management experience, with primarily corporate banking coverage as preference.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee for approval.
  • Perform due diligence checks on new to bank clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and product specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services to clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the client portfolio, including regular reviews and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in corporate banking.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products - ideally bilateral loans and syndication participation.
  • Strong credit analysis and cash flow projections.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
